No laughing matter
In May of 1981 children across America were reporting clowns who would try to force or lure them into vans. Though the encounters were frightening, the clowns never successfully kidnapped a single child. Soon the reports stopped, and the sinister clowns were never heard from again...until now.
Clowns are never a laughing matter. Sinister fellows one and all.
ReplyDeleteDressing as a clown to lure kids? That's like dressing as a wolf to lure deer. It's not going to work.

ReplyDeleteJohn Wayne Gacy did have a son, you know. You'll note that the article is from Chicago.
ReplyDeleteDid Gacy ever perpetrate crimes while in costume? I never knew he had a son, but I know one of his employees became a notorious serial killer.
ReplyDeleteI think the explanation for the phantom clowns lies elsewhere. They have never physically hurt anyone, none of their vans have ever been identified or found abandoned, police have chased them without sucess.
What are we doing talking about Clowns when the real menace are Gnomes. See http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/weird/article1817406.ece and http://arbroath.blogspot.com/2008/03/little-person-dressed-as-gnome-stalking.html. Someone should talk to Judge Floro about this.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to talk to the Judge go right ahead.
ReplyDeleteSince you like gnomes, you should look up the video clip of a leprechaun in a tree.
The final nail in the coffin for clowns is that E-TRADE commercial with the talking baby who spends his earnings renting a clown and find he "really underestimated its creepiness."
